What is an Ambulatory Care Centre (ACC)?
An ACC is a specialist medical centre where patients can get consultations, tests, and surgeries without staying overnight. Most treatments are done safely within the same day.
What types of surgeries are done here?
We focus on orthopaedic and pain procedures such as joint injections, arthroscopy, fracture care, and minimally invasive surgeries for bones, joints, and spine.
Is surgery in an ACC safe?
Yes. Our centre follows strict Ministry of Health (CKAPS) standards. Surgeries are performed by experienced specialists with trained anaesthetists and nurses.
What kind of anaesthesia is used?
We have General Anaesthesia, mild sedation and spinal anaesthesia
How do I prepare for day surgery?
Depending in the type of anesthesia.
How long will I stay after surgery?
You are allowed to stay up until 23 hours
Will insurance cover my surgery here?
Many insurance plans cover ACC procedures, but coverage depends on your policy. Our staff will help you check with your insurer.
What if I need to be admitted overnight?
If your condition requires admission, we will arrange a smooth transfer to our partner hospital for continued care.
Who will take care of me during recovery?
You’ll have access to our doctors, physiotherapists, and follow-up visits to ensure proper healing.
